JStu began as a full-time singer/songwriter in June of 2019. His spirit animal is the polar bear, which appears in the artwork on all his releases. He plays piano, accordion and other keyboards. He produces, records, and mixes many of his songs with the help of other musicians. He has written hundreds of songs and released 110 of them on 6 albums beginning in 2017. His favorite pastime the last 4 or so years is co-writing.

ABOUT THE SINGER
JStu began as a full-time singer/songwriter in June of 2019. He has written hundreds of songs and released 110 of them in 6 albums beginning in 2017. His favorite pastime the last 4 or so years is co-writing, working with writers such as Dan Bern, Mary Bragg, Jenn Bostic, and Raye Zaragoza on over 50 collaborations. His voice has been likened to Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Greg Brown and Bruce Springsteen and his keyboard style to Bruce Hornsby and George Winston. He can name-drop with the best!
